Product Manager

As Product Manager (PM) at BioLamina, you will drive development of products to market and manage as well as key in-market products. You will translate deep product and customer insight into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution that helps the scientific community understand and adopt our products. You will sit at the intersection Research and Development and Commercial with an emphasis towards marketing.

The PM will work to understand product strategy, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, and with the Marketing Manager and team to turn that understanding into compelling campaigns, content, and launch plans. Your ability to speak fluently to both the science behind our products and the needs of the customers who use them will be central to the role. The PM is expected to have technical and scientific depth and being able to effectively translate and communicate that to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own positioning and messaging for BioLamina products, translating technical and scientific detail into clear value propositions for researchers, cell therapy developers, and other stakeholders.

• Plan and drive go-to-market and launch activities for new products and product updates, coordinating between Product Management, Marketing, and Sales.

• Gather and structure customer and market feedback, identifying product gaps and opportunities that inform both product strategy and marketing plans.

• Monitor competitors, market trends, and new solutions, translating findings into positioning updates, battlecards, and sales enablement materials.

• Partner with Marketing to create and help manage content for various marketing channels, including the company website, social media, email campaigns, and promotional and support materials that support both brand awareness and product-specific campaigns.

• Track and report on the performance of product marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine positioning, campaigns, and launch plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree and/or PhD in Life Sciences, Cell Biology, or a related scientific field.

• 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or product management within biotech, life science, or another technical/scientific industry.

• Proven track record of translating technical or scientific content into effective marketing materials and campaigns.

• Experience supporting or driving product launches and go-to-market plans.

• Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms is a strong plus.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Sales, BD and R&D.

You are a strong communicator who is equally excited and comfortable digging into scientific detail and crafting a compelling customer-facing story. You are a creative, results-driven thinker who enjoys working at the intersection of several functions and consider yourself an excellent relationship builder with a knack for leading through influence. You bring real technical depth in cell biology or a related life science, enough to engage credibly with researchers independently and hold your own on the science without technical assistance to lean on. You are able to keep many things afloat at the same time, keeping a focus on customer needs, building a structure where it doesn't yet exist, and balance the priorities of Product, Marketing, Sales, and Development.

• Employment type: Full-time, permanent, subject to a probationary period.

• Reports to: Chief Scientific and Business Development Officer (CSBDO).
