Silex Microsystems is the world's leading pure-play MEMS foundry. We customize for prominent global clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and the automotive industry. We were founded in 2000 in a KTH lab by, among others, current CEO Edvard Kälvesten. Our headquarters and factory are located in Järfälla.
About the role:
We are looking for a Product Manager - Production and Planning to support Silex in achieving our On-Time Delivery goals. In this role, you will be the primary contact between our production team and customers, as well as external vendors. You will be responsible for planning product from order to delivery and play a critical role in managing product improvements while ensuring that all product-related data and systems are up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the primary point of contact for customers on production-related matters, including delivery schedules, updates on plans, and technical inquiries.
Follow up on status and movement throughout the production cycle.
Plan and manage regular shipments, including preparing paperwork and following up on deliveries.
Coordinate with external vendors for processing needs.
Monitor and control product starts, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) updates and track production flow through the fab.
Responsible for Product Quality and ensure that we follow our Customer Product Integration (CPI) process.
Support the development of new WIP management and planning tools.
We are looking for someone who:
Have an engineering Master degree or equivalent within material, nanotechnology, physics, chemical engineer or similar
Experience in production planning or product management, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational. leadership and communication skills
Familiarity with production systems and tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
Are fluent in English, Swedish is highly meritating
