Presales Engineer - Identity and Access Management (IAM)

PhenixID develops solutions to secure digital identities, with a focus on the public sector. Based in Sweden, we offer powerful identity management products and exceptional customer service, tailored to fit existing infrastructures.

Now we're looking for a Presales Engineer to join our sales team. In this role you'll be instrumental in the sales process, providing technical expertise on IAM solutions to prospective customers. You'll collaborate with the sales team, understand customer needs, and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements. As a Presales Engineer with us, you will have an opportunity to work with cutting-edge IAM technologies and solutions in a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Master PhenixID's IAM solutions and stay updated on industry trends.
• Sales Support: Work with the sales team to identify customer requirements, conduct discovery sessions, and deliver product demos.
• Solution Design: Propose IAM solutions aligned with customer goals and develop technical architectures.
• Proof of Concept (POC): Lead POC engagements, configuring and deploying IAM solutions, and providing technical support.
• Documentation: Support the creation of technical documentation, proposals, and architecture diagrams.
• Customer Engagement: Build strong customer relationships and ensure smooth post-sales handover.
• Training: Assist with training internal teams and customers on IAM solutions.

Qualifications:

• A few years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, preferably in IAM.
• Strong knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g., SSO, MFA, LDAP, SAML, OAuth).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in Swedish & English.
• Proven problem-solving skills and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant education and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIAM).
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.

We offer hybrid ways of working and flex time, but to build a tight team and close relationships with our customers, we ask that most of the time be spent in the office.
