We are looking for an experienced Network Automation Engineer / Developer to join a global infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain automation solutions that improve and support daily network operations in a large enterprise environment.
This is a try-and-hire opportunity. The assignment begins as a consulting engagement and is intended to transition into permanent employment with the client after approximately 6-12 months.

This is a try-and-hire opportunity. The assignment begins as a consulting engagement and is intended to transition into permanent employment with the client after approximately 6-12 months.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation solutions
- Automate configuration deployment, compliance checks, and data collection
- Integrate network devices and platforms using REST, NETCONF, RESTCONF, and gRPC APIs
- Develop tools for incident response, troubleshooting, inventory, and validation
- Collaborate closely with network engineers and architects
- Maintain code repositories, documentation, and reusable automation frameworks
- Promote automation best practices and code quality
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong enterprise networking background
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper environments
- Advanced Python development skills
- Experience with Ansible, Nornir, Netmiko, and NAPALM
- Experience with APIs and structured data formats such as JSON, YAML, and XML
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts
- Experience troubleshooting production networks
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role and 10+ years of total professional experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Network telemetry and observability platforms
- IPAM and source-of-truth systems such as NetBox
- SD-WAN, SDN, or Apstra experience
- Azure or AWS networking
- Certifications such as CCNP, DevNet, or JNCIS
