Medical Affairs Senior Manager, Norway (with Nordic Responsibilities)

Position Summary

We are looking for aMedical Affairs Senior Managerto lead medical strategy and field-based activities for ourAtopic Dermatitis and Psoriasisportfolio as well as future, rich Pipeline inNorway, while also spearheading selectedNordic initiatives. This role combines scientific expertise with a strong commercial mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Summary of key tasks

1) Medical Leadership for the Dermatology Portfolio
  • Drive medical insight, strategy and planning for atopic dermatitis and psoriasis in Norway; contribute to Nordic alignment.
  • Maintain Medical Expert mapping, relationships and scientific engagement.
  • Provide medical support for marketed products and pipeline assets, including evidence generation and studies.
  • Deliver scientific input to brand planning, risk management and Market Access activities.
  • Ensure compliant review of medical materials and activities according to SOPs and regulations.


2) Field-Based Medical Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Respond to medical enquiries and provide accurate on-label scientific information.
  • Deliver scientific presentations and training to HCPs and external stakeholders.
  • Support clinical projects, investigator-initiated studies, advisory boards and site collaboration.
  • Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Provide competitor insights, environmental scanning and contribute to cross-functional account plans.
  • Engage with patient organizations and key partners in a compliant manner.


3) Compliance, Safety & Ethical Governance
  • Ensure full compliance with Almirall SOPs, Ethical Code, PV requirements and reporting timelines.
  • Keep scientific, clinical and regulatory knowledge up to date.
  • Develop and review compliant medical materials and ensure proper documentation.
  • Promote patient safety and uphold ethical standards in all activities.
  • Provide medical and compliance guidance to cross-functional teams to support responsible business opportunities.


Who You Are
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences is required; PhD is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence medical and business stakeholders
  • Strategic, proactive and solution-oriented
  • Experienced in Medical Affairs, ideally within dermatology, immunology or related fields
  • Skilled at balancing scientific depth with commercial understanding
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization with both local and regional responsibilities
  • Experienced with the Norwegian healthcare system; Nordic experience is an advantage
  • Norwegian speaking, living in the central part of Norway (Oslo area)
