Manager – Finance Transformation | Management Consulting

Are you passionate about transforming finance functions and creating lasting business impact?

KPMG is looking for an experienced management consultant to join our growing Finance Transformation team in Stockholm. In this role, you will help some of Sweden's largest organizations modernize their finance functions, improve performance, and enable data-driven decision-making through process, operating model, and technology transformation.

As part of KPMG's Management Consulting practice, you will work alongside talented colleagues in an ambitious and collaborative environment, supporting CFO organizations through complex transformation journeys.

Your Role
As a Manager within Finance Transformation, you will lead workstreams and project teams in large-scale transformation initiatives. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you will help design and implement future-ready finance organizations, processes, and ways of working.

You will contribute both to client delivery and business development, helping to further strengthen KPMG's position as a trusted advisor in the Finance Transformation space.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance transformation projects from strategy through implementation.
• Support CFOs and finance leaders in improving finance performance and operating models.
• Design and optimize finance processes, governance structures, and target operating models.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Drive project planning, stakeholder management, and delivery quality.
• Support business development activities and identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Coach and develop junior consultants.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices within Finance Transformation.

We assume that you have:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, advisory, financial controlling, business controlling, or a related field
• Experience leading transformation initiatives within finance functions.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• A commercial mindset and proven ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience within one or more of the following areas:
• Finance Operating Model
• Financial Controlling & Finance Operations
• Record to Report (R2R)
• Source to Pay (S2P)
• Order to Cash (O2C)
• Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Management Reporting
• SAP Finance or other finance technology platforms
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

A background from a leading consulting or advisory firm, such as MBB, the Big Four, or an equivalent organization, is required.
