Lead Data Architect MDM

Are you a senior architect who can translate complex business, data, security, and operational requirements into a clear and scalable solution? Cognizant is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to define the target Party Master Data Management solution and integration architecture for a strategically important transformation within financial services. You will shape the architectural direction from discovery through roadmap planning, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations, and non-functional requirements.

What you will do

You will assess the current application and integration landscape, evaluate Party MDM solution options, and identify how data, applications, interfaces, security, and operational capabilities need to evolve. Working across business, data, architecture, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams, you will define a target architecture that is robust, scalable, compliant, and practical to implement.

You will guide technology choices, integration patterns, interfaces, and implementation principles. You will also identify technical constraints, dependencies, risks, and roadmap implications, translating them into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. Throughout the discovery, you will ensure that architectural decisions are documented, traceable, and aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.

What you bring

You have 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, including hands-on responsibility for complex transformation initiatives. You bring strong experience from Party or Customer Master Data Management implementations and understand the architectural challenges associated with golden records, integration, data quality, security, privacy, resilience, and operational support.

You have worked in banking or another regulated financial-services environment and can balance strategic direction with delivery realities. You communicate complex technical topics clearly, build alignment across diverse stakeholders, and can challenge assumptions constructively. Experience working with Nordic stakeholders and enterprise environments is highly desirable.
