Role: Technology Architect

Role Summary
As a Technology Architect, you will be responsible for defining the architecture, strategy, governance, and implementation roadmap for enterprise-wide solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Collaboration technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, service owners, and technical leads to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned digital transformation solutions.
The role requires deep expertise in Power Platform architecture, enterprise integrations, governance frameworks, solution design, and stakeholder management. The candidate will lead technical discussions, provide architectural guidance, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive innovation across the Microsoft technology stack.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Collaboration workloads.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Establish architecture standards, design principles, and technical roadmaps.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks.

Power Platform Architecture

• Lead architecture and implementation of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Define platform governance, environment strategy, security models, and application lifecycle management (ALM).
• Drive enterprise-scale adoption of low-code/no-code solutions while maintaining compliance and security standards.
• Review and approve solution designs developed by development teams.

Microsoft 365 & Collaboration

• Architect and drive solutions across Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Viva, and related collaboration technologies.
• Design modern workplace and collaboration solutions to improve productivity and employee experience.
• Guide business teams on M365 platform capabilities, integrations, and future roadmap.

Integration & Automation

• Design integrations between Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure Services, Dynamics 365, SAP, ServiceNow, and third-party applications.
• Define API integration standards and connector strategies.
• Enable enterprise automation initiatives using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Integration Services.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Establish governance frameworks for Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Define security architecture, data protection standards, DLP policies, RBAC models, licensing strategies, and compliance controls.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Technical Leadership

• Lead solution architecture discussions with customers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, consultants, and support teams.
• Review technical designs, code quality, deployment strategies, and implementation approaches.
• Support presales activities, solution estimations, and transformation initiatives.

Service Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business users, service managers, and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into architecture solutions.
• Support critical incidents, problem management, and major platform escalations.
• Drive regular architecture governance reviews and technical steering committee discussions.
• Present technical recommendations and solution roadmaps to leadership teams.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Evaluate and recommend adoption of emerging Microsoft technologies, AI capabilities, Copilot solutions, and automation opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation programs.
• Identify optimization opportunities across productivity, collaboration, and business process automation.

Required Experience

• Minimum 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven experience in solution architecture and enterprise technology design.
• Strong experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in global delivery models and stakeholder-facing roles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, consulting, and customer engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
