Junior Business Analyst MDM

Are you an early-career Business Analyst who enjoys turning complex discussions into clear, structured outcomes? Cognizant is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support the discovery phase of a strategically important Party Master Data Management initiative within financial services. Working alongside senior business, data, architecture, and governance specialists, you will help capture business needs, assess processes, and build the documentation required to shape the future solution.

What you will do

You will support workshops and stakeholder discussions by preparing materials and accurately capturing requirements, process flows, issues, decisions, and follow-up actions. You will maintain requirements traceability, coordinate reviews with stakeholders and subject-matter experts, and help ensure that documentation remains clear, consistent, and up to date.

You will also contribute to use-case analysis, current-process assessments, dependency mapping, prioritisation, and business-case inputs. This is a hands-on role where you will learn from experienced colleagues while helping the wider team turn business needs into practical and well-documented outcomes.

What you bring

You have 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, data projects, process improvement, or a related field. Exposure to banking, Master Data Management, customer data, or data governance is an advantage. You are structured, curious, and comfortable working with detailed information, and you communicate clearly with both business and technology stakeholders.

You have strong documentation and coordination skills, pay attention to quality, and are willing to ask questions when something is unclear. An interest in developing your skills in enterprise data and financial-services transformation will help you succeed. Availability to work on-site in Stockholm is required.
