Industrial Projects is the department within DHL Group that handles oversized goods, breakbulk, RoRo, heavy lifts and other special transports on land, at sea and in the air. As an independent organization within the DHL Global Forwarding, we are one of the leading suppliers in Sweden in project logistics.

Project Freight Forwarding Specialist

DGF Sweden are looking for a full-time dynamic Project Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our Industrial Project Team in Sweden on a 24-month temporary basis.

You will be an important member of our team of experienced and professional Project Freight Forwarding Specialists. You will manage project shipments within all modes of transport, safely and with a strong focus on quality keeping the customer's best interest in mind, be it external or internal customers as well as ensuring that profitability is achieved.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good knowledge of freight forwarding business (road freight and ocean freight) with focus on project logistics
• High understanding of operational processes
• Customer focused/high service level

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Goal-, result- and commercially oriented
• Good understanding of collaboration and good communication skills

• University degree within Logistics is a merit

• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel skills

• Fluent in Swedish and English verbal/written communication

Main Tasks

• Plan and find solutions to the assignment at hand taking into consideration high quality, safe handling, and profitability
• Receive and manage shipping orders
• Book transport with subcontractors
• Register assignments in the company's forwarding system, CargoWise, and complete the necessary documents for transport and transfer them to the correct recipient
• Monitoring and follow up shipping documents for contracted customers
• Invoicing orders to customers and/or agents depending on delivery conditions
• Cost control and handling of supplier invoices
• Archiving relevant documentation
