Beskrivning

Do you thrive in a global environment where supply chain excellence directly shapes business performance and customer satisfaction? This is an opportunity to lead regional planning on a transformative journey-strengthening operations, enabling growth across new and evolving customer segments, and driving excellence through a truly global team spread across all continents.

Why Sandvik?

Joining us means being part of a global organization where your leadership drives real impact across regions, functions, and markets.

Play a key role in shaping a world-class supply chain and planning function.

Lead a transformation journey within S&OP and demand planning, evolving ways of working and enabling sustainable change across the organization.

Collaborate closely with global stakeholders and influence strategic direction while supporting our ambition to Accelerate our Growth.

About the job

You lead a global team of Regional Planning Managers located across all continents and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives within Global Operations. Acting as a close partner to Sales Areas, you represent the voice of the customer throughout the supply chain and ensure planning processes support both business performance and customer satisfaction. By fully leveraging the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, you create predictability in supply chain performance and support informed business decisions across regions. You're a member of the Global Operations Management Team and report to the Vice President of Global Operations.

We are on a journey to Accelerate our Growth, and you and your team play a key role on that journey. You are motivated by understanding and developing our business and put your supply chain and team leadership skills at service towards that.

Job responsibilities

Develop and execute regional plans that support the Global Operations strategy and enable Sales Area ambitions and growth.

Lead and continuously improve regional S&OP and demand planning processes, ensuring customer demand is captured accurately and translated into reliable forecasts and timely decision-making.

Maintain a tactical and strategic view of the supply situation and secure relevant information sharing up and downstream across the supply chain.

Support sales ambitions by ensuring agreed service levels are met regionally while optimizing supply chain performance, inventory health, net working capital, and distribution efficiency.

Drive the implementation of a common global planning concept and one way of working, sharing best practices across regions to strengthen end-to-end planning performance and customer satisfaction.

Partner with process owners and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize S&OP performance, improve data flow, and advance automation and standardization across the planning process.

As a member of the Global Operations Management Team, you actively contribute to building a high-performing leadership team. Together with your peers, you set direction, drive cross-functional decisions, and take joint accountability for business performance, strategic priorities, and sustainable growth.

Location

This position is based in Sandviken or Västberga, with presence in Sandviken and includes travel to collaborate with teams and stakeholders globally.

Your profile

With a strong foundation in supply chain and planning, you bring a strategic, end-to-end mindset and know how to turn vision into actionable results across the full value chain. Operating in a global context motivates you, and you have a proven ability to collaborate across functions-bringing together sales teams and global operations to align priorities and drive performance.

You also bring:

A university degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, supply chain, or logistics, or equivalent experience

Extensive experience in supply chain, S&OP, demand planning, and forecasting

Proven managerial experience in global and intercultural environments

Strong understanding of supply chain cost and capital drivers, including inventory management and distribution networks

Fluency in English, written and spoken

Clarity and communication are at the core of how you work. You connect teams, bridge perspectives between commercial and operational stakeholders, and ensure alignment around shared goals. With a structured yet collaborative approach, you navigate complexity with confidence and inspire others to perform at their best while leading change in a global, cross-functional environment.
