Head of Production

Our success is built on the expertise and commitment of approximately 110 employees, working across project management, engineering, production and support functions.

We are now looking for a Head of Production to lead and further develop our production organization.

The Role as Head of Production

As Head of Production, you will have overall responsibility for leading, developing and optimizing the production organization through your department managers within Steel, Piping, Mechanical, and Dock & Transport.

You will ensure that the organization has the right resources, competencies, processes and working methods in place to successfully deliver projects according to established targets for safety, quality, cost efficiency and delivery performance.

As a member of the management team, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and contributing to the company's long-term strategic development. The position requires a visible and engaged leadership style, with a strong presence in the business and close collaboration with employees, customers and stakeholders.

Experience

You have several years of experience in a senior production leadership role within the maritime, shipyard, manufacturing or other project-driven industrial sectors.

You have a proven track record of:

Leading managers and larger production organizations through delegated responsibility

Driving operational performance and achieving demanding business objectives

Developing organizations, processes and working methods to improve efficiency, productivity and delivery precision

Building and strengthening a proactive safety culture with a strong focus on HSEQ

Managing operations in an international business environment

Experience from project-driven production environments where flexibility, coordination and customer focus are critical is highly valued.

You are results-oriented and combine a strong business mindset with a genuine interest in people development. You can balance strategic thinking with operational execution and are comfortable making decisions in a dynamic environment.

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent planning and organizational abilities

A strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction

Good technical understanding and the ability to translate business objectives into operational activities

Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken

Meritorious Qualifications

Experience from the shipbuilding, ship repair or maritime industry

Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
