Job description

We are now looking for a Group Legal Counsel to support our global organization. In this role, you will independently review, draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts in both private and public contexts and handle corporate governance and compliance matters, including GDPR. Legal plays a pivotal role as a business partner to all teams and functions within the 4C group.You will work closely with 4C Group Head of Legal, our senior regional sales managers, the Finance, IT and HR teams and cross-functionally with various stakeholders from other parts of our organization.

You will be an instrumental part of a collaborative and passionate team of two and you will be reporting to 4C Group Head of Legal & Compliance. You will be based in our office located in Stockholm. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be

• Advise on commercial customer and supplier contracts (a lot of them software related), including reviewing, drafting and negotiating all contracts in accordance with applicable local laws and company policies.
• Provide advice on legal and compliance risks and proposals for mitigating actions.
• Assist in ensuring legal, compliance and corporate governance commitments are fulfilled, including GDPR.
• Embrace opportunities for development in a role that balances autonomy with team-driven success in navigating complex legal challenges and work on group projects (such as AI, privacy, ESG) in line with your capabilities and aspirations.
• Provide internal training sessions on various legal aspects.

To be successful in this role we believe that you have the following qualifications:

• Swedish LL.M (Jur.kand./Juristexamen).
• At least 1-4 years of experience from a Swedish law firm or as an in-house counsel.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills on a professional level, both in English and Swedish
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to give hands-on practical advice
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and to work independently within cross-functional teams
• Sound business judgment and ability to think strategically
• Highly driven and committed
• Team player and service oriented.

• Experience in commercial negotiations and software contracts.
• Experience working with public company governance

• Experience working with an international law firm or other international environment

As our customers operate within fields that require security clearances, all employees of 4C Strategies need to be able to obtain a security clearance if required. Swedish citizenship or EU citizenship is an absolute requirement for the position.
