We are looking for up to three skilled Full Stack Developers with a strong frontend focus to join a long-term digital development initiative within a public-sector environment.
In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, support, and continuous improvement of both internal and customer-facing web applications. Working as part of an agile, cross-functional team, you will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle-from solution design and technical planning to implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
The development teams collaborate closely with backend engineers, platform specialists, IAM experts, product owners, UX professionals, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modern web applications with a primary focus on frontend technologies.
Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
Implement new functionality and improve existing systems.
Perform code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
Investigate technical issues and support continuous improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment.
Contribute to planning, backlog refinement, and lifecycle management activities.

Required Qualifications
Fluent Swedish communication skills, both verbal and written.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web application development.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and NPM.
Strong experience developing production-grade React applications.
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2 and JWT.
Experience working with Git-based version control, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with Docker and container-based development environments.
Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
Familiarity with Linux-based deployment and application management.
Experience working in agile teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with business stakeholders and product teams.
Understanding of secure software development principles and OWASP recommendations.
Experience developing accessible web applications in accordance with WCAG and public-sector accessibility standards.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar container orchestration platforms.
Previous experience with Java, .NET, or other enterprise development frameworks is considered valuable.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern coding assistants to improve delivery efficiency.
Preferred Background
Experience delivering solutions within government, municipal, healthcare, or other public-sector organizations.
Experience working in complex environments involving multiple integrations and shared services.
Ability to combine AI-powered development practices with sound engineering judgment and high-quality software delivery.
Work Model
This assignment follows a hybrid working model. Consultants are expected to be present on-site in Sundsvall for a minimum of 60% of the working week. Increased on-site attendance may be required during specific project phases or business-critical activities.
