About the role

As a Product Manager at Cerve, you'll be at the heart of our mission to drive connectivity in the food industry by shaping our product portfolio from vision to execution. You'll collaborate closely with our CEO, engineers, designers and commercial teams to deliver solutions that enhance connectivity, reduce food waste and improve the overall food system. This role gives you the opportunity to lead a talented cross-functional team, execute product strategy and improve customer retention while elevating the customer experience.

What you'll do

As a Product Manager at Cerve, you will lead the development and integration of products that drive our mission forward, including:

• Roadmap Prioritisation & Management: Develop and prioritise product roadmaps based on business needs, market feedback, and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.
• Product Quality & Continuous Improvement: Maintain high standards for product quality, actively contribute to development processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
• Framework Development & Systematisation: Create frameworks and documentation to systematise implementation and onboarding processes, enhancing scalability and efficiency.
• Customer-Centric Value Delivery: Research and understand customer needs. Deliver impactful and timely solutions that create value and foster satisfaction.
• Collaborate on Strategy & Vision: Work closely with the Founder to define the long-term strategy and vision for your product area, uniting cross-functional teams around a shared direction to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Performance Metrics Alignment: Set and monitor performance metrics to ensure alignment between team objectives and company-wide KPIs, driving accountability and measurable success.

You have

• 6+ years of experience in planning, managing, launching, and optimising API-driven products in a start-up or scale-up environment.
• Background in software engineering, ideally experience building APIs or integrations, along with a strong track record of collaborating with design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Full proficiency with Gitlab and Atlassian products including JIRA and Confluence.
• A strong sense of accountability and ownership; ability to work collaboratively in a result-oriented way.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, leveraging data and metrics to guide product decisions, build business cases, and set OKRs.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts and present them effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
