Financial Controller needed!

About the position
We at Perido are now looking for a Financial Controller to our client, a Swedish industrial company developing large-scale production of green iron and steel using green hydrogen and renewable energy, with the aim of significantly reducing the steel industry's carbon emissions. The position is based in Stockholm.

Your daily tasks
The role combines qualified accounting, financial control, process development and ERP implementation. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and play an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting while contributing to improved processes and internal controls. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a changing environment and who can combine attention to detail with a broader business perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and month-end closing
• Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
• Handle VAT reporting
• Manage CAPEX, fixed assets and accounting classification
• Contribute to ERP implementation, experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is preferred
• Develop and document processes and internal controls
• Support audits and statutory reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial control or a related finance role
• Strong knowledge of Swedish GAAP/K3
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations, intercompany transactions, VAT, CAPEX and fixed assets
• Experience from an industrial environment, preferably production, inventory or logistics
• Experience with ERP implementations (a plus)
• Excellent spoken and written English

Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2027-06-30. Start asap.
