Job Description
International Card Services (ICS) brings together our International Consumer and Small & Medium Size Enterprises (SME) issuing activities, as well as our Commercial Large Market sales and account development teams. ICS issues Cards in 27 countries, and is responsible for two Joint Ventures covering around a dozen countries. The leaders in these countries are empowered to make decisions at a local level, in partnership with other local business leaders. Local teams are supported by two cross-market teams - the Centre of Excellence, and Risk & Control Management.
American Express in the Nordic region is one of the fastest growing international markets within American Express worldwide. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Nordic Country Manager Jason Quirk and strengthening the Nordic consumer card team.

Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Proactively manage a highly complex calendar across multiple countries and time zones.
- Prioritize competing demands and ensure optimal use of the Country Manager's time.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, logistics, and expense management.
- Screen and manage communications, ensuring timely responses and escalation of critical issues.
- Leadership Team & Governance Support
- Support the Country Executive Team (CET) and Nordic Leadership Team.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, town halls, and off-sites.
Communications & Engagement
- Support internal communications including leadership announcements, newsletters, town halls, fireside chats, and organizational updates.
- Partner with stakeholders and executive assistants across the Nordics and international headquarters.
Operational Excellence
- Manage invoices, and administrative processes.
- Coordinate visitor programs, executive visits, and market leadership meetings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive business and people-related information.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, headquarters teams, external partners, and assistants across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the Country Manager professionally and effectively
Qualifications
- Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English
- 2 years of experience in an administration heavy role.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
- Experience from working in an office environment is an advantage.
