CGI is looking for a senior Enterprise Architect to strengthen our Banking & Financial Services practice in Stockholm. The role focuses on Credit and core banking platforms, with a strong emphasis on Mainframe systems, enterprise integration, and modernization.
You will work closely with our clients to define future IT direction, ensure architectural coherence, and support long-term transformation initiatives. The role combines strategic advisory responsibilities with a solid technical foundation, in line with Nordic values of trust, pragmatism, and collaboration.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define IT vision and target-state architecture
• Translate business needs, regulatory requirements, and risk considerations into architecture roadmaps
• Provide guidance on technology choices, modernization paths, and integration strategies
• Support architecture governance and cross-domain alignment
• Define enterprise architecture covering Mainframe and modern platforms
• Design and govern integration architectures (APIs, middleware, messaging, event-driven solutions)
• Support Mainframe modernization initiatives, including hybrid and incremental approaches
• Contribute to cloud and hybrid architecture adoption in regulated banking environments
• Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, resilience, scalability, and performance

Kvalifikationer för att bli framgångsrik denna roll
• At least 15 years of experience in enterprise architecture within Banking / Financial Services
• Strong domain knowledge in Credit and core banking
• Proven experience with Mainframe technologies (z/OS, COBOL, CICS, DB2)
• Experience integrating legacy platforms with modern architectures
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
