Overview

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Critical Environment Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities

Increasing regulatory and customer requirements mean that the data centre operations meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmental performance.

The E&E CEPM will

  • Manage local energy and environmental projects for thedatacentercampus and atleasedsites, where applicable
  • Support with implementation of and maintenance of certifiedEnvironmentalManagement System (EMS) and/orEnergy Management System (EnMS)at Microsoft datacentresin thecountry. This will include,but not limited to, the following:


  1. Represent thesite atRegionalEnergy and Environmentmeetings.


  1. Supportsite-level data collection and key performance indicators monitoring


  1. Lead site-level management review process


  1. Identifyon-site risks and non-conformity for ISO 14001 and/orISO 50001


  1. Identifyand deliverenergy and environmentalimprovementprojects


  1. Be point of contact and supportinternal auditsand external audits


  1. Manage local documentationcontrol for EMS/EnMS


  1. Work withRegionaland localteams to develop and implement site-level communication plan (e.g.energy andenvironmentawareness training,EMS/EnMStraining)


  • Collaboratewithon-siteOperations teamand Regional Compliance teamon development ofenvironmental compliance procedures and/orcompletion ofenergy and environmental compliance tasks
  • Support RegionalOperationsteam withenergy and environmentalprogrammesat site level(Zero Waste,EUCode of Conductetc)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Mechanicalor ElectricalEngineering


  1. ProfessionalExperience


  1. Proven experience managing building operations, energy, environmental, or sustainability programs in mission ‑ critical, industrial, or large infrastructure environments.


  1. ExperiencemaintainingISO 14001 and/or ISO 50001 at the site level, including management reviews, non ‑ conformity management, and corrective actions.


  1. Technical Management System Competence


  1. Strong understanding of:


  1. DataCenterOperationalcontrols


  1. Energy Management Systems(ISO 50001)


  1. Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)


  1. ProjectandProgram Delivery


  1. Demonstratedcapability toidentify, scope, and deliverenergyperformance improvement projects atoperating sites

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Data Center Operations Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Sweden is kr 570,000.00 - kr 930,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
