At Xylem, we are united by a common purpose: solving water challenges through innovative and sustainable solutions. We are now looking for an experienced leader to take on the role of Distribution Manager to our Distribution Center in Emmaboda, Sweden.

About the Role

As Manager of the Supply & Distribution Center (SDC) you will have an important role in a highly international environment, ensuring operational excellence while acting as a central interface between internal functions, suppliers, and commercial teams worldwide. You lead an organization of approximately 120 employees, with 4 managers and 2 technicians reporting to you.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you have full responsibility for both the operations and the continuous development of the SDC Lindås, supporting global distribution to more than 125 countries. You drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across operations, with a strong focus on Lean principles.

A key part of the role is to ensure strong collaboration across the entire value chain, working closely with internal stakeholders, supplying units, external suppliers, and commercial teams. You will also act as a front-facing representative of the organization in a global context, building and maintaining strong relationships with international partners. In addition, you will serve as a member of the global Distribution & Order Management leadership team within Water Infrastructure (WI), collaborating closely with peers across the global organization. Finally, you will drive alignment between global strategies and local execution, ensuring that business objectives are effectively achieved.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong foundation in industrial operations and supply chain. The ideal candidate brings solid knowledge and hands-on experience of Lean methodologies, combined with a university degree in logistics, engineering, business, or a related field.

You have built a solid foundation in manufacturing, distribution, and/or logistics, and are ready to take on a broader leadership role in a global environment. With strong communication skills, you are able to collaborate effectively across functions. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Swedish is considered a strong advantage.
