In brief

To achieve Nordnet's ambitious goals, the compliance team needs to be strengthened with an additional Compliance Officer within the life insurance area who will be located in our modern headquarters at Alströmergatan 39 in Stockholm.

At Nordnet you will get the opportunity to work in a young, progressive, and flexible organization characterized by innovation and ground-breaking solutions where you will play an important role in building and further developing the compliance work. The compliance team currently consists of 10 employees located all across our offices in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Key responsibilities

As a Compliance Officer, you will work across all of Nordnet's business areas (insurance/banking/securities/mutual funds) with a particular focus on insurance-related matters and the sales organization. Due to our Nordic footprint we also include a Nordic perspective on everything we do. English is our main language in internal communication such as reporting, presentations etc.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development of guidelines, policies, and instructions.
• Continuously monitoring regulatory compliance within the business and conducting control activities.
• Providing advice and support to the business within the compliance area.
• Monitoring new and changing regulations.
• Participating in the development of new products and services.
• Education sessions.
• Actively contributing to the further development of the compliance team's ways of working.

About you

We believe you are ready to take the next step in your career and develop further. You have an eye for details as well as being able to see the bigger picture. Your social skills, coupled with being curious, solution-oriented and enjoying working along side the business in a supportive role will be key to your success in this role.

You have a high drive, and is used to working independently as well as a member of a team in a dynamic environment.

You have a legal and/or financial degree, with several years of experience within the compliance field and particularly within the life insurance area. Additional experience within the securities and/or traditional banking area is also very valuable.

You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
