We're hiring a new Compliance Manager to the Nordic Compliance Team that will manage the Nordic Core Compliance team. The Compliance Manager will report to the Nordic Compliance Director and work alongside two other Compliance Managers, each responsible for their own areas of responsibilities.

The Nordic business consists of issuing and acquiring in the American Express card-scheme.
Qualifications

We're hiring a new Compliance Manager to the Nordic Compliance Team that will manage the Nordic Core Compliance team. The Compliance Manager will report to the Nordic Compliance Director and work alongside two other Compliance Managers, each responsible for their own areas of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- As a 2LOD Compliance Manager in core compliance, you will advice, support and oversee the compliance risk management in the Nordic business of American Express together with your team.
- You and your team will oversee and support the implementation of regulatory changes, interact with regulators, provide effective challenges on initiatives and projects undertaken by the business, provide internal reporting, oversee the testing plan, prepare and respond to audits.
- The Compliance Manager will have two direct reports. This team will work with core compliance, which is compliance advisory in core compliance areas such as customer protection, prudential risk, conduct risk and to some extent privacy. This team does not support in AML/CTF and does not perform compliance testing.
The Nordic business consists of issuing and acquiring in the American Express card-scheme.
- To be successful in this role, you need to be an experienced compliance officer in PSD2 and CCD1/CCD2 as well as be familiar with cross-border and passporting requirements. Previous experience in working across the Nordic markets is a benefit.
Qualifications
- Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish Law degree or equivalent
- Native speaker in any of the Nordic languages
- Advanced proficiency in the English language
- Previous experience from the Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish financial industry as a compliance officer
