Cobol Developer to Lending Sweden

What is needed in this role:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or relevant experience

10+ years of experience in system development & related tools

Proven track record within relevant programming language such as Mainframe, DB2, Cobol & SQL coding skills

Experience working with modern development tools, including IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) and Visual Studio

Experience in analyzing and optimizing DB2 databases

Strong interest in leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and improve productivity.

IMS knowledge

Analytical skills and experience within the Lending area combined with a technical understanding,

Understanding of working close to data, databases and file deliveries and using tools such as SQL.

You are great at time management, prioritization, planning and information structuring.

You are curious, driven, proactive, self-organized and an analytical problem solver with a desire to improve and comfortable solving complex tasks.

You are social and communicative both in written and in oral in both Swedish and English

Willing to cooperate with different counterparties.

It would be beneficial if you have/are:

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code and similar solutions

Full Stack & experience with product and loan systems is seen as a big advantage

Experience with working with Lending system

Experience of working agile

Confident in leading interpretations of upcoming regulations and market standards.

Experience in design and architecture as well as leading more complex initiatives is a big plus

Experience from business analysis, functional & non-functional requirements and testing.

Knowledge on lending processes and background preferably from the local branches or lending support
