Chief Financial Officer to Avensia

Avensia is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who combines strong financial leadership with business acumen and a genuine interest in technology, automation and AI.

What you'll do

As CFO, you will have overall responsibility for the financial management, statutory reporting, compliance and financing of the Avensia Group. You will be a member of the Group Management Team and a close strategic partner to the CEO, Board of Directors and our operating businesses. You will lead an international team and play an important role in turning financial data into insights that support Avensia's continued development and growth.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Financial Management & Analysis: Ensure high-quality financial management and controlling, with a focus on margins, cash flow, operational efficiency and timely decision support.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Take overall responsibility for statutory financial reporting, internal controls and risk management in accordance with the requirements for a company listed on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market.
• International Leadership: Lead and develop the Finance and IT organisation, comprising ten employees across Sweden and the Philippines, with four direct reports.
• Automation & AI Transformation: Drive the digitalisation of Finance through smarter systems, automation and AI to improve efficiency in accounting, reporting and financial analysis.

The role requires a strong balance between ensuring high quality and compliance in a listed-company environment and providing modern, technology-driven leadership that continues to develop the Finance function globally.

We therefore believe that you have:

• A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Solidexperience in senior finance roles, ideally as CFO, Finance Director or in a comparable leadership position.
• Previous experience with statutory financial reporting and regulatory requirements in a listed company.
• A proven track record of leading change within Finance.
• A genuine interest in modern technology and how AI and automation can shift Finance from manual processes towards more strategic and value-adding analysis.
• Experience leading and developing teams remotely, preferably in an international environment, and the ability to build culture and engagement across borders.
• A strong business-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights and high-quality decision support for the CEO and Board.

Full professional proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Practical information

The position is based in Skåne, where you can belong to our office in Malmö or Lund.

We would prefer if you can join Avensia no later than the end of 2026.
