Campus Service Assistant

The Opportunity:

The Campus Service Assistant (CSA) is a junior assistant role which will drive value adding services in close collaboration with the service coordinator and lead function. This position will be an operational first point of contact for customers (tenants and property owners) completion of agreed service tasks. The CSA role will provide scheduled service tasks and manage ad-hoc inquiries to best serve the customer groups. Continuous improvements and innovations will be embedded in the daily work to drive tangible improvements and added values across workflows. LEAN principles will be an integral part of the role to design on service optimisation from start. The role will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline and simplify processes and propose data driven KPI:s for achievement. The CSA role is trained in specific techniques required for each area but will also be responsible for general lab work.

Towards customers

• Managing inbound / outbound logistics and propose ways of working.
• Manage waste to have minimal negative environmental impact.
• Deliver operational tasks within the Campus Service scope.
• Ensure delivery of glass wash and consumables within the Campus Service scope.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organized workspace.
• Maintain and clean various of machines and instruments within the Campus Service scope.
• Deliver tasks within the scope of pipette calibration.
• Ensure delivery of lab coats and clothes.
• Follow all health, security, and environment demands that are defined in the work instructions and communicated in various educations.
• Customer centric and proactive in terms of pro-actively suggestion improvements
• Minimum completed Swedish gymnasium diploma.
• Proficient in Swedish (written / spoken)
• Medium level of English (written / spoken)

• Ability to perform individually as well as in teams.
• High cooperation skills.
• Service minded and able to communicate with people at all organisational levels.

• Flexible for emerging tasks and a solution-oriented mind set.

• Ability to quickly shift focus and tasks.

• High level prioritization skills with the ability to maintain several processes at once.
• Will and ability to work physically (occasional lifting/pushing/pulling occurs and a lot of walking and standing is involved).
• Used to and comfortable with computer-based work.
• Careful and orderly with a very high regard for safety.

• Respect and understanding for laboratory work.

• Speaking and writing both Swedish and English without any hindrance
