The Buyer-role is responsible for placement of purchase orders based on demands or requests and follow up deliveries is part of your daily responsibility. Follow up and management of purchase orders such as reschedule in, reschedule out and cancel. Including day to day contact with suppliers in order to fulfill material demand. Further you will be working closely with Commodity Managers to deliver best value from bought in goods/materials and services, to maximize profitability and working within the policy and objectives of our company. Conducts full development life cycle including interviews of users, development of requirements documents and implementation of requirements. Drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinates purchasing activities with production planning and other stakeholders to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Secure replenishment of materials and components in a timely manner according to demand requirements
• Follow up on supplier performance and report to Sr Buyer and Category Management
• Support logistic and quality for non-conforming deliveries and materials
• Manage assigned items to support material planning team with master data input

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Graduated from minimum 2 years study in economics or technical orientation, or work experience equal to education requirements. OR 3-5 years experience within procurement, or supply chain experience in area of material planning and material flow.
• Experience in Microsoft Office package, especially excel as an analytic tool, but also power point and word
• Communications skills in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
• Familiar with logistic flows for materials
• SAP experience in PTP (procure to pay) module, or other ERP systems, including master data and reporting.
