Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager in our Digital Rights Management (DRM) team, you're responsible for identifying and managing initiatives to grow our DRM business. You will proactively identify new business opportunities, address short-term critical priorities, and nurture relationships with existing and new partners.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects and processes, and develop strategies for entering new platforms, verticals and territories.
- Tackle short-term critical priorities with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities within DRM.
- Build, nurture, and grow relationships with both existing and new partners.
- Contribute to team OKRs by driving initiatives, processes, and programs to successful completion.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure competitive advantage.
- This role has no direct reports but will lead individuals in projects, and set processes for the team to be adapted long term.
- Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as needed to support business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience from tech/product-centric organizations (e.g. SaaS companies)
- Past experience with business strategy, business performance, and/or product development operations
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively within and outside the team.
- Good knowledge and skills in Google workspace/suite
- Excellent communication skills in English spoken and written
- Knowledge of online platforms (such as YouTube, Meta and TikTok) and its business dynamics is a plus
