Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automotive Software Test Automation Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in HIL environments and automated test development to support advanced automotive software verification activities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for vehicle-level and system-level verification

Work extensively in HIL environments to validate automotive software and control systems

Develop and execute test automation using Python and dSPACE AutomationDesk

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and quality assurance

Perform testing and validation of systems related to electric propulsion, including Power Electronics, Battery Control, and Energy Management

Work with real-time simulation, CAN, and Automotive Ethernet for communication and system validation

Ensure proper test documentation, traceability, and reporting in line with project and quality standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies aligned with VCC standards and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years of experience in automotive software test automation

Strong hands-on experience with HIL testing

Proficiency in Python scripting for automated testing

Solid experience with dSPACE AutomationDesk

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration

Experience with real-time simulation environments

Strong understanding of CAN and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols

Domain knowledge of electric and hybrid propulsion systems

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative Agile teams

Nice to Have

Prior experience working in vehicle-level testing
