We are looking for a Senior CAE Engineer to join our Engineering team in Jönköping, Sweden.

In this role, you will be a key contributor in understanding complex engineering problems. Ensuring that the right simulation methods are used, while balancing efficiency with confidence in the results will be an important focus in your work.

You will be part of a small, highly skilled team based in Jönköping, with the backing of a large global automotive organization. This means you will have a broad role and real influence on both technical decisions and ways of working, while also collaborating globally in cross-functional project teams. Simulation is an increasingly important area for us as we continuously work to deliver products faster and with higher quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and break down complex engineering problems using CFD and FEM in Ansys (Mechanical/Fluent) and Amesim
  • Communicate results in detailed reports and presentations to global cross-functional project teams
  • Define appropriate modelling approaches and work with continuous improvement on simulation methods and processes

Required profile

  • You take a senior and analytical approach to problem-solving, by questioning assumptions, prioritizing and seeing the bigger picture
  • You understand and can explain how engineering decisions create value for the product and the organization
  • You can communicate your ideas and results clearly in both English and Swedish.
  • You collaborate effectively with people from different technical disciplines and perspectives
  • Solid and proven experience in CFD and FEM simulation
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in automotive industry standards and practices, programming languages such as Python or MATLAB and NVH analysis.

What we offer
You will join a small, highly skilled team where collaboration, curiosity and knowledge sharing are essential to solving complex engineering challenges. We believe in taking ownership and continuously improving how we work - both in our product design and in our ways of working. With the backing of a global organization, you will combine local impact with access to a wide network of expertise and development opportunities.
