What you'll do

Right now, we are looking for an Area Manager HMP for our Hydrogen Manufacturing Plant team. In this role you will sit within our Project Delivery function and take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of the HMP area.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is ready to take on broader responsibility. You will lead Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Quality, and Project Controls, while coordinating EPCM partners, OEMs, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep delivery moving.

Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day delivery of the Hydrogen Manufacturing Plant area across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety
  • Lead and support Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, setting priorities and ensuring alignment across the area
  • Coordinate EPCM partners, OEMs, contractors, and other external stakeholders and hold them accountable for delivery
  • Own area-level planning and prioritization, including look-ahead planning and removal of execution constraints
  • Monitor and challenge schedules, cost forecasts, risks, changes, and contractor performance
  • Drive timely decision-making and escalate issues that could materially impact delivery
  • Ensure strong coordination across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Quality, and Project Controls
  • Build a collaborative and accountable team environment with a strong focus on safe execution
What you'll bring

You're curious and believe that real progress happens when we work together. You're not afraid to challenge old ways of thinking and you treat others with respect while doing it. At Stegra, we value people who take initiative, build trust, and help create a workplace where everyone can do their best.

For this role, we are looking for someone with the ambition and capability to take on broader project leadership. You may already have Area Manager experience, or you may be an experienced Project Manager who is ready for the next step.

Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below
  • Around 10 years of relevant experience in project management or project execution within large-scale industrial capital projects
  • Proven experience leading complex work packages or multidisciplinary project delivery
  • Experience from Oil & Gas, energy, process industry, hydrogen, chemicals, or similar process-intensive environments is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of project and construction management, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and contract administration
  • Experience working with EPC/EPCM partners, OEMs, contractors, and cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to understand and challenge schedules, cost forecasts, risks, changes, and overall project performance
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the drive to take ownership, make decisions, and lead across functions
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience; fluency in English is required
