Description

Our team is driving the development of a next-generation infotainment system powered by Android Automotive. You will collaborate with a highly skilled group of engineers to shape industry-leading solutions and contribute to the automotive infotainment mega-trend.
We are looking for a Senior Android Automotive Bluetooth & Connectivity system architect with strong attention to detail and a passion for technology.

Requirements

Participate in root-cause-analysis of failure modes in the connectivity solution and propose long-term fixes to the connectivity architecture
Android Automotive Bluetooth & Connectivity framework and services
Complete Bluetooth stack & controller integration
Debugging and improving phone connectivity, pairing, reconnection, and stability
Bluetooth media and automatic media connection
Hands-free calling and related audio paths
Audio routing and interaction with other vehicle audio sources
CarPlay and Android Auto interactions
Vendor and supplier collaboration

Other Expectations

Relevant technical education and background
Have strong English skills (Swedish is a bonus), with excellent communication skills
Team player who takes ownership, with a proactive commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Collaborative mindset, and can give and receive constructive code reviews
Gerrit, Git, C/C++, AAOS, Sniffing tools (Frontline, Wireshark, etc), BLE, Bluetooth, Ethernet, audio

Job responsibilities

Lead the analysis of recurring and systemic connectivity issues down to the appropriate architectural level
Drive re-architecture when the current design cannot provide the required behavior, reliability, or maintainability.
Make or coordinate technical decisions across software layers and integration teams.
Maintain architecture documentation, key decisions, risks, and technical dependencies.
Coordinate technical investigations and collaborations with internal teams and external partners.
Identify gaps in requirements, test coverage, observability, and diagnostics capability.
Provide technical direction during platform changes, product development, and issue escalations.
