TRAINING MANAGER

Aimpoint is a rapidly growing company with an exciting future. Top quality and exceptional value for our end users are always at the forefront of our agenda.

About the Position

As Training Manager, you will join our Training team, working alongside two colleagues. Your primary responsibility is to support Aimpoint's goals through your expertise in product usage and your strong background as an educator. You will assist the sales team by delivering professional and commercial product demonstrations and provide qualified delivery training to customers after sales.

Your skills will be instrumental in supporting new product development and expanding into new customer markets and partnerships. The focus will be on customers within the military, law enforcement, security industry, sports shooting, and hunting sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct safe, precise, and engaging product demonstrations and training sessions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Provide training to distributors and partners.
  • Provide delivery training to end customers.
  • Plan and execute major events.
  • Participate in national and international trade shows/events.
  • Organize and conduct shooting training sessions and demonstrations.
  • Maintain and operate the indoor shooting range at Aimpoint's Experience Center.

This position is based at Aimpoint's headquarters in Malmö, but requires national and international travel, approximately 80-120 days per year. Regular customer and end user visits are integral to the role.

You will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, and your training team, reporting directly to the Director Training Wing.

Qualifications

We seek someone who thrives in a role where educational and pedagogical skills are fully utilized, and who is driven to move forward even when not all answers are clear from the outset. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships are essential, as is flexibility to meet customers and partners effectively and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Risk management expertise and a strong understanding of safety, discipline, and organization are vital. You should possess excellent planning skills, but also be comfortable working ad hoc as needed. Courage balanced with realism, and confidence to prioritize activities that drive results, are highly valued.

Requirements
  • Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Comfortable with frequent travel.
  • Driver's license.
  • Experience as a qualified firearms instructor within the military, police, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency with pistols, rifles, and automatic weapons; familiarity with support weapons (heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, recoilless rifles) is a plus.
  • Experience planning and conducting live fire exercises in accordance with Swedish regulations "SäkR G" and/or "SäkB"
  • Preferably, you are also an active sports shooter and/or hunter. If not already, then you want to start.
  • You enjoy having fun at work and view collaboration with colleagues and customers as both challenging and stimulating.

The salary range for an Training Manager is SEK 50,000-65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
