Job Description:
About Us
Hitachi Rail is a global provider of rail solutions. In Sweden, we deliver advanced railway signalling systems that meet the highest safety, reliability, and performance standards.
We are a small and growing local team based in Solna. Our size gives everyone the opportunity to make a visible impact, take ownership, and gain experience across different aspects of project delivery. We are now looking for a Test Engineer to support testing activities in both laboratory and site environments.
What You'll Do
Team & Work environment
Small Local Team
You will be joining a compact team in Solna where your contribution is highly visible. You will gain broad hands-on experience and play an important role in project delivery.
Site-Based Activities
The role combines laboratory testing with periods of work on customer sites across Sweden. This provides exposure to real railway systems, customer environments, and project delivery activities.
International Collaboration
Much of our engineering support and development comes from Italy and other international locations. Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively across cultures are important for success.
Career Development
This role offers a clear opportunity to grow. As you gain experience with site activities and customer interactions, you can develop toward taking greater ownership of site testing activities and potentially evolve into a Site Test Lead or Site Leader role.
