The Staff UX Designer is responsible for understanding customer workflows and translating them into intuitive system and software solutions.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, UX and Software Core and is part of the R&D Downstream organization located in Uppsala, Sweden and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Conduct research to understand customer workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate user needs into system and software requirements together with system specialists.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and visualizations of proposed solutions using UX tools such as Figma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers and application specialists to design user-friendly systems.
- Validate solutions against requirements and customer use cases through testing and feedback loops.
Who you are:
- Degree or formal training in UX Design or related field.
- Experience working with UX design tools such as Figma.
- Experience conducting user research and working with Voice of Customer (VoC).
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
- Experience working in cross-functional product or system development teams.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Life sciences, biotechnology, or regulated industries
- Translating complex workflows into system-level requirements
