About the Role
You will work with functional verification of complete electrical systems before software releases for vehicles in the European market. In this role, you are part of an integration test team where you help secure software quality at vehicle level and collaborate closely with teams across functions, including colleagues in China.
This is a hands-on role for you if you enjoy understanding how software, hardware, and vehicle systems interact in practice. You get to work close to the product, influence test methods, and contribute to software quality in a complex automotive environment.
Job DescriptionYou execute functional verification in the Complete Electrical Integration area.
You run both directed and exploratory test cases and analyze the results.
You debug software failures in the SWIM system and help drive issues toward resolution.
You create verification test methods and improve the way testing is performed.
You update and maintain test environments, including test cars.
You work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and test leaders to understand and resolve issues found at vehicle level.
You collaborate with teams across regions to support software releases with high quality.
RequirementsB.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
3 years' experience of automotive & integration of embedded systems.
Relevant experience of integration and functional domain testing in vehicles.
Experience driving automotive tests in vehicles.
Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer.
Experience working with Jira.
Ability to drive, motivate, and convince others in your day-to-day work.
Good English, spoken and written.
Swedish driver's license.
Willingness to travel as part of the role.
Nice to haveInterest in cars and practical driving experience.
Strong test analysis skills.
Cultural awareness, especially in China-European collaboration.
