This position, with the title of Software Engineer, is in the Frostbite CI Engineering team and you will report to the Senior Manager of Engine Development. Frostbite is the one engine for Electronic Arts, and through our unique development process, we aim to produce a functional, reliable, usable and high-end product for our game developers.
The CI Engineering team provides the infrastructure and services required by Frostbite's CI, validating hundreds of code changes every day. In our team, you will operate and scale a global farm with on-premise and cloud components. Working with Frostbite software, quality and release engineers, you will make efficient, reliable, secure development workflows possible. You will also share your solutions and best practices with DevOps engineers across EA.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps.
- Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads across production environments.
- Implement and maintain platform security controls, including secrets management, token-based authentication, and access controls.
- Develop infrastructure automation and operational tooling using Infrastructure as Code and scripting technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform security.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and operations in production environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including secrets management, token-based authentication, and certificate management.
- Experience with AI/ML platforms or AI-related infrastructure.
- Experience with a non-relational / noSQL database such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB
