Requirements:
Strong proficiency in C++ and multi-threaded development
Working knowledge of Java development
Self-motivated and able to independently drive development efforts
Strong communication and team work skills
Strong grasp of garbage collection and systems fundamentals
Hands-on experience with OpenJDK is highly desirable
Qualifications

Responsibilities
Design and implement new Java Virtual Machine garbage collection features and optimizations
Collaborate with the OpenJDK community on potential contributions
Work closely with the rest of the engineering team to review designs and ensure optimum JVM execution performance
