We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect to join our team of software architects and senior engineers in Lund. In this role, you will work closely with a group of talented and passionate individuals who share a common goal of creating innovative and cutting-edge software solutions. Our team values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, and we are looking for someone who shares these values and is excited to learn from and contribute to our team.
As a Senior Software Architect you will both lead and coach the developers throughout the project from a technical point of view and you will work hands-on in the project together with the team. You will also actively participate in the sales quotation process, together with project managers, sales, hardware and system engineers as applicable.

We are looking for
We are looking for a Software Architect who can take on a broad and dynamic role, balancing strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the following areas:
- Technical leadership and hands-on contribution:
- Provide technical leadership in requirements gathering, design, bring-up, development, and integration phases
- Actively contribute to development of assigned projects alongside the software and hardware team
- Project support
- Assist the project manager in scheduling and planning the software development activities in the projects
- Support project manager and sales with resource estimations in the quotation process
- Customer Engagement/communication:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs through thoughtful, creative, and communicative dialogue
- Propose technical solutions aligned with customer/stakeholder ideas, visions, and needs
- Define, document and present system architecture based on the customer needs
- Explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and their implications in an accessible manner
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with software line management on strategic initiatives, including competence development, growth/scaling, business development, and targeting specific industries
- Establish and maintain relationships with core technology partners (e.g., platform providers, component suppliers, third-party technology providers) to optimize operations and enhance business opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Android AOSP experience:
- Deep knowledge of Android AOSP, with a proven track record of successful Android bring-ups on Qualcomm chipsets, including experience with BSP (Board Support Package) integration and device tree configuration
- Hands-on experience with the Android stack is essential
- Qualcomm Proficiency:
- Strong understanding and experience from working with Qualcomm chipsets, tools, and frameworks
- Customer Experience:
- Experience from collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored technical solutions
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Embedded Systems knowledge:
- Familiarity with embedded operating systems and development (e.g., SiLabs, Nordic, ST, FreeRTOS, Yocto Linux, Ambarella) is an advantage
- Multimedia system knowledge:
- Experience from working with audio and camera technologies is a plus
- AI and Machine Learning Interest:
- Experience from using machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence, and related tools
- Knowledge in areas such as computer vision and object detection is a plus
- Personal Attributes:
- Defined by flexibility and a natural curiosity
- Quick to learn and eager to embrace new challenges with a positive attitude
- Collaborative and works well within a team
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and guide technical teams effectively
