Beskrivning

About us
Ingrid was born out of a simple belief: the energy transition must move faster and work smarter. We're pioneers at the forefront of the global energy transition - pushing boundaries, turning bold ideas into reality, and solving the problems that matter most.

The INtelligent GRID of tomorrow needs to absorb and release more power. We develop, build and operate high-performance batteries - the lungs of modern energy infrastructure - enabling a more flexible and resilient energy supply across Europe. With 500 MW already deployed across the Nordics and rapid expansion into continental Europe, we manage, optimize and trade both our own assets and those of third parties through our sophisticated tech platform, making every battery - and the entire grid - stronger.

About the role
Do you have a proven track record of bringing high-quality projects to Ready-to-Build - with a deep understanding of what it takes to develop assets that perform over their full lifetime?

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on senior project developer to lead the development of our energy storage projects in the Nordics.

You will become a senior team member within the project development team, taking full ownership over projects - leveraging your negotiation and execution skills based on a thorough understanding of what makes a project bankable and sound from a financing perspective.

You thrive with ambiguity and have a proven track record of high-quality project deliveries while working with a wide range of stakeholders (landowners, grid owners, authorities, utilities as well as internal stakeholders -transaction, engineering, procurement). You enjoy the mix of hands-on execution, strategic planning, negotiation, independent work and collaboration.

Travel within the Nordics occurs occasionally - traveling to sites for assessments, stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that development milestones are met. You will report to Head of Development.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Drive project development efforts, to secure land, permits, and grid connections to reach RtB status.
  • Negotiate agreements and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Representing Ingrid at industry events, fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Ensure strong financial viability and technical excellence as well as drive continuous improvements in all aspects of development.
  • Navigate regulatory processes and stay ahead of market trends to ensure compliance and long-term project viability.
  • Identify and proactively address project risks through strategic planning and problem-solving.
  • Oversee project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, and seamless project handover.
  • Work cross-functionally to align technical, financial, and regulatory aspects of projects to drive innovation and contribute to Ingrid's long-term growth and success.

Your work experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in project development in renewable energy or energy storage - proven track record of projects reaching RtB, experienced with specific Nordic regulatory/permitting framework coupled with financial/bankability knowledge
  • University degree in engineering, business, management or related field.
  • Technical expertise in energy markets and understanding of grid infrastructure.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Your personal skills

In addition to relevant work experience, we're looking for someone with the right personal skills and motivation, and a genuine passion for renewable energy.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Structured problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges creatively and pragmatically.
  • A relationship-builder who understands counterparties' perspectives and resolves issues with a positive impact.
  • Self-driven and proactive - takes initiative, leads projects independently, and continuously seeks to improve.
  • Resilient and collaborative, thriving in fast-paced environments while keeping internal and external stakeholders aligned.

Why join us?

At Ingrid, we're pioneers at the forefront of the global energy transition - pushing boundaries, turning bold ideas into reality, and solving what matters most. Our culture is built on Bold Impact • Curious Grit • Inspiring Collaboration. We believe a thriving organisation runs on trust, growth, and learning from mistakes - and that wellbeing matters as much as work. From team workouts to social activities, we make space to connect, recharge, and thrive together.

Next step

We'll make selections on an ongoing basis and finalize the recruitment as soon as we've found the perfect match.

We look forward to hearing from you!
