Senior Program Manager- MDM

Shape a strategically important data transformation in financial services. Cognizant is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the discovery phase of a Party Master Data Management initiative. You will create alignment across business and technology, establish clear governance, and turn complex requirements into an actionable roadmap, resource plan, and business case.

What you will do

• Own the overall program plan, scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, budget, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate business, data, architecture, security, and vendor workstreams, ensuring that teams move toward shared outcomes.
• Establish effective governance, decision forums, escalation paths, and transparent ways of working.
• Drive timely stakeholder decisions and maintain alignment between strategic priorities and delivery.
• Lead the development of the discovery roadmap, resource plan, delivery approach, and business case.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, resolve obstacles, and keep senior stakeholders informed with clear, decision-oriented reporting.

What you bring

• 12+ years of experience leading complex transformation programs in large, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proven experience with Master Data Management, customer data, Party MDM, or comparable enterprise data initiatives.
• Strong financial-services experience and an understanding of regulated environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, executive communication, and delivery planning.
• Ability to connect business priorities with data, architecture, security, and implementation considerations.
• Confident stakeholder leadership, with the ability to create clarity, challenge constructively, and move decisions forward.
• Experience working with Nordic stakeholders is highly desirable.
