Senior Informatica PowerCenter Developer / Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica PowerCenter Developer to support complex enterprise data integration initiatives across a diverse technology landscape, including Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, Linux, and Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ETL development, data warehousing, system integration, and operational support, while effectively translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Informatica PowerCenter

• Expert-level experience in developing and maintaining mappings, workflows, sessions, and transformations.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Informatica PowerExchange

• Hands-on experience with real-time and batch data integration involving legacy and mainframe systems.

Linux

• Strong command-line proficiency and experience with shell scripting for ETL automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

SQL

• Advanced SQL development skills, including complex queries, joins, window functions, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

Oracle Database

• Extensive experience with PL/SQL, database performance tuning, partitioning, and large-scale data processing.

DB2 Database

• Strong expertise in DB2 database structures, SQL development, connectivity, and integration with Informatica solutions.

Snowflake

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing, virtual warehouses, performance optimization, clustering, and query tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau for reporting and data visualization.
• Knowledge of OPC / Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for workload automation and scheduling.
• Exposure to Mainframe technologies and integration patterns.
• Experience supporting production operations, incident management, and SLA-driven environments.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into effective ETL and data integration solutions.
