You will work with advanced sensor algorithms in an environment where performance in the real world matters just as much as performance in the lab. The role centers on developing robust solutions for sensor data processing and sensor fusion, with a clear path from concept and prototyping to production use.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong technical leadership element. You will not only solve complex algorithm challenges, but also help the team evaluate new ideas, challenge established ways of working and move forward around strong technical decisions. It is a great fit if you enjoy combining deep algorithm development with real influence over technical direction.
Job DescriptionYou will develop and prototype advanced DSP and sensor algorithms.
You will work with sensor data processing and sensor fusion to improve system performance.
You will develop mainly in MATLAB and Python.
You will take algorithms from early concept and prototype stages into production-ready solutions.
You will optimize solutions for accuracy, robustness, power consumption and false-positive performance.
You will evaluate existing approaches, identify stronger alternatives and help turn them into practical solutions.
You will drive technical topics independently and create momentum in the team.
You will build alignment around new ideas and help shape a shared technical direction.
RequirementsStrong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Solid experience with sensor data processing and sensor fusion.
Extensive experience in algorithm development using MATLAB and Python.
Proven experience taking algorithms from concept to production.
Strong understanding of algorithm optimization and real-world constraints.
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and work closely with others around technical decisions.
Ability to influence direction, challenge established approaches and bring people together around new solutions.
Nice to haveMachine Learning applied to sensor or signal data.
Experience with Embedded ML, TinyML or Edge ML.
Experience developing ML solutions for resource-constrained devices.
