Your role
Atea is looking for a Security Coordinator to support our local security and data protection work for Sweden. In this role, you will help ensure that information security, privacy, and compliance are embedded in everyday processes, decisions, and culture across our offices.

As a Security Coordinator, you will work closely with the local Cyber Security Officer (CSO), Data Protection Officer (DPO), regional offices, managers, and employees. You will provide guidance, support security awareness activities, assist with incident and breach handling, and contribute to continuous improvement of Atea's information security and privacy practices.

Your key responsiblites:

• Provide ongoing support and guidance on information security and data protection matters.
• Answer internal questions and help employees understand relevant security requirements, policies, and processes.
• Support the local CSO and DPO in promoting a strong security and privacy culture across Sweden.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and internal governance requirements.
• Communicate important information about Atea's information security and privacy activities to local managers and employees.
• Report information security events, potential security risks, and data breaches according to Atea's Information Security Management and Privacy Information Management System processes.
• Support investigations and reporting in the event of personal data breaches within the local organization.
• Review and advise on data processing agreements where required, both when Atea acts as a data controller and as a data processor.
• Assist the local CSO and DPO during Atea Group-led audits at the local level.
• Help ensure that information is handled securely, efficiently, and responsibly throughout the organization.

Who are you?
We are looking for a structured and trusted colleague with a solid foundation in information security, data protection, or related compliance areas. You understand the importance of protecting organizational and personal data and are motivated by helping others apply security and privacy requirements in practice.

You are comfortable communicating with different stakeholders, translating requirements into clear guidance, and supporting collaboration across offices and functions. Since the role involves sensitive information, you must demonstrate high integrity, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Your experiences and qualifications:

• A relevant educational background or equivalent practical experience in information security, data protection, risk management, IT, or a related field.
• Understanding core information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, availability, risk management, access control, incident handling, and secure information handling.
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions such as IT, legal, HR, management, sales, and operations.
• A structured, proactive, and service-minded way of working, with attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
