SEB's Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division offers talented students an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow their potential over a few intense summer months. If you have the ambition, we will support you every step of the way!
The internship in short
The programme kicks off with an engaging Introduction Week, where you'll get to know SEB, meet professionals across the CIB division, get to know other interns and start building your network. During the introduction you will participate in learning and networking activities. We wrap up the experience with a Closing Day to reflect on, share, and celebrate your internship journey.
As an intern in our International Credit Sales team - a key part of SEB's highly successful Fixed Income unit, known for delivering top-tier services across major financial hubs - you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. You will be guided by at least one tutor during the internship.

About the team
Our International Credit Sales team is a highly skilled global sales team based in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki and Stockholm. As an integrated part of the Credit Capital Markets value chain we engage with international investors on their Fixed Income investments by connecting issuers to the market, executing trades and generating trade ideas. Together with our closest stakeholders: Trading, DCM, Syndicate, Research and other sales teams, we strive to generate long-term value for our clients.
What you will do
The focus of this internship will be to participate and learn about the day-to-day activities of a Credit Sales person. You would, for example support colleagues with analysis and preparatory work, provide the organization with assistance, produce sales materials, assist with excel modelling and more.
As collaboration is key for the success of our business, you will also be given the opportunity to start building your professional network within our global value chain and learn how different parts of our organization interact with each other.
Who are you?
We are looking for an ambitious and positive individual with a genuine interest in financial markets. You are creative, proactive, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Excellent oral and written English skills is a must. Additional language skills such as fluency in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Swedish are beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
