The Institute of Health and Care Sciences at the University of Gothenburg offers education and conducts research focusing on care, health, and human living conditions. We educate nurses, radiographers, specialist nurses, and midwives with the goal of meeting society's need for competent and committed healthcare professionals.
Our research spans many areas but shares a foundation in person-centred and evidence-based care. We are nationally and internationally recognised as a leader in person-centred care, a perspective that permeates our education, research, and collaboration with healthcare services.
The institute is part of the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg and is based at Campus Medicinareberget, in direct proximity to Sahlgrenska University Hospital - an environment characterised by interprofessional collaboration, clinical relevance, and academic excellence.
Duties
As a researcher, you will conduct advanced research work within the framework of an ongoing project under the leadership of Professor Inger Ekman. Your main tasks will consist of analyzing survey data and interpreting and discussing the results together with other members of the research group.
Qualifications
We require that you have solid theoretical knowledge of person-centered care and extensive experience in statistical analysis and working with survey data. The tasks require very good knowledge of various statistical programs, data management, and digital skills. You should have a doctorate in a relevant field for the position as well as an academic degree: associate professor.
The language requirements we set are very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good skills in English, both spoken and written.
To succeed in the role, you need to be able to work independently, while also having good collaborative skills and enjoying a research environment. We place great emphasis on accuracy, good communication skills, as well as a well-developed administrative and strategic ability.

Employment
Fixed-term employment, 12 months, part time (10%). The position is located at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences. First day of employment as agreed.
