By managing the progress of Problem Solving under complex boundary conditions, this position as a Program Manager / Project Manager for Technical Issues is very challenging. In your role, you will have a high visibility to the upper management and the opportunity to grow and to develop your own skills.

How You'll Make an Impact

Responsibility for planning and managing prioritized projects to ensure effective and timely fleet-wide issue resolution

Coordination of the complete issue-resolution process, from defining clear problem statements and conducting root cause analyses to validating and implementing sustainable technical solutions

Leadership and alignment of all relevant cross-functional interfaces across the organization to maintain project progress and successfully resolve complex technical challenges

Development and execution of risk mitigation strategies, as well as coordination of internal and external communication related to ongoing projects and technical issues

Creation, maintenance, and monitoring of project plans, milestone schedules, and project budgets to ensure successful project delivery

Promotion of continuous improvement through lessons learned, quality feedback to engineering teams, prevention of issue recurrence, and participation in or support of customer meetings worldwide as a technical partner to the commercial project organization

What You Bring

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or in a comparable field

Several years of experience within the industrial gas turbine industry or a related technical business environment

Knowledge about commercial projects and power plant business

Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager, including leadership of multidisciplinary project teams

Training or certificate in Project Management is meritorious

Strong self-motivation and ability to easily navigate through ambiguity

Good skills in talking and reading English.
