About the Role
You will take a central role in purchasing within a complex product development environment where timing, quality, cost, and risk all need to move in sync. In this role, you will work close to both the purchasing organization and cross-functional development teams to make sure sourcing decisions support the broader roadmap and industrialization plans.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Quality, and production, and act as an important link between strategy and execution. This is a strong opportunity for you if you enjoy combining purchasing, project leadership, and product development in an international automotive setting.
Job DescriptionYou will lead and follow up purchasing activities throughout the project lifecycle, including sourcing, budget management, planning, quality assurance, and risk management.
You will represent purchasing in cross-functional product development teams and help align purchasing priorities with development roadmaps.
You will work closely with the purchasing line organization to secure business needs and support well-founded supplier decisions.
You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, and production sites during the industrialization phase to help secure high-quality end products.
You will manage large amounts of data and turn insights into clear decision support, including presentations and reporting in tools such as Power BI.
You will contribute to a structured way of working where both short-term actions and long-term targets are balanced.
RequirementsUniversity degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience within Purchasing and/or Project Management.
Experience from the Automotive industry and/or from managing large, complex projects.
Ability to communicate clearly in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders.
Structured way of working with an analytical and logical mindset.
Ability to lead colleagues in a trustworthy and collaborative way.
Team-oriented approach with a strong focus on collaboration.
Ability to handle problems quickly and decisively while maintaining long-term targets.
Knowledge of DVP product development methodology.
Experience working with large data sets and presenting insights through Power BI.
Ability to complete a background check before the assignment starts.
Nice to haveKnowledge of relevant enterprise systems.
