Project Leader - Electrical Engineering & Automation

We are looking for a dedicated Project Leader to drive the electrical engineering and automation design within our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, quality, and costs within your discipline. As the technical project leader for electrical engineering and automation, you will play a key role throughout the sales and proposal phases as well as lead the project execution and delivery. You will maintain strong customer relationships and represent Cyient professionally and effectively.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and coordinate electrical engineering and automation work in multidisciplinary projects
• Monitor and report progress including costs, quality, and timelines
• Identify opportunities for additional work and actively pursue scope expansion
• Manage changes and delays by implementing corrective actions such as acceleration, resource allocation, and change orders
• Participate actively in sales and proposal phases, fostering strong customer engagement
• Lead and take ownership of the discipline project team locally and globally
• Support site and workshop activities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation
• 7-9 years of experience in electrical engineering and/or automation design
• Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering and automation, with knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and directives
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both English and Swedish
• Proven experience in industrial plant engineering projects
• Leadership experience with the ability to build and lead international teams
• A driven leadership style with strong team spirit
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work on-site during project phases
• Experience with engineering business culture and customer interaction is highly valued
• Previous experience in global project environments is an advantage
• Practical industrial experience is a plus

Projektledare - Elteknik & Automation

Vi söker en engagerad projektledare som vill driva elteknik- och automationsdesign i våra projekt. I rollen ansvarar du för att styra omfattning, tidplan, kvalitet och kostnader inom ditt område. Som teknisk projektledare för elteknik och automation kommer du ha en nyckelroll under både försäljnings- och offertfasen samt leda projektets genomförande och leverans. Du kommer ha nära kundkontakt och representera Cyient på ett professionellt och engagerat sätt.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:

• Leda, planera och samordna elteknik- och automationsarbetet i multidisciplinära projekt
• Följa upp och rapportera projektets framsteg, kostnader, kvalitet och tidsplan
• Identifiera möjligheter till tilläggsarbeten och projektomfattning
• Hantera förändringar och förseningar genom åtgärder som upprampning, resurstilldelning och ändringsorder
• Aktivt delta i försäljnings- och offertfaser och bygga starka kundrelationer
• Leda och ta ansvar för projektteamet inom disciplinen, både lokalt och globalt
• Stödja på plats vid sitearbete- och workshops etc. vid behov

Kvalifikationer:

• Civil- eller högskoleingenjör inom elteknik eller automation
• 7-9 års erfarenhet av elteknik och/eller automationsdesign
• Stark teknisk kompetens inom el och automation samt god kännedom om relevanta standarder och regelverk
• Mycket god kommunikations- och samarbetsförmåga både på svenska och engelska
• Dokumenterad erfarenhet av industriprojekt inom anläggningsteknik och konstruktion
• Ledarerfarenhet med förmåga att bygga och leda internationella team
• Ett proaktivt ledarskap med förmåga att skapa laganda
• Flexibel och villig att resa samt periodvis arbeta på site vid behov
• Erfarenhet av tekniskt offert ochaffärsarbete samt kundkontakt är meriterande
• Erfarenhet från globala projekt är en fördel
• Praktisk industriell erfarenhet är ett plus
