Your role

As an Experienced Product System Engineer within Air Traffic Management, you will play a key role in shaping advanced products used by airports and air navigation service providers around the world. You will take technical ownership of one or several products and work closely with a highly skilled team where collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

You will be involved in important parts of the product lifecycle, including requirements management, system design, product scope definition and technical documentation. In addition, you will provide technical expertise to our tender teams and support customer project deliveries during the design phase.

Our product portfolio primarily consists of software solutions developed in-house, complemented by proprietary hardware and selected commercial off-the-shelf components. The breadth of the role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple disciplines and gain a deep understanding of complex systems. You will also have opportunities to travel and engage directly with customers across the globe.

Building strong relationships with customers, end users, sales teams and other stakeholders is an important part of the role. By understanding customer needs and translating them into robust technical solutions, you will contribute directly to creating products that meet the highest standards of quality, safety and performance.

You will join an international team of Product System Engineers and subject matter experts located in Växjö and Gothenburg, Sweden, and Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Your profile

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer who enjoys working with complex technology and collaborating with others to solve meaningful challenges. You likely have at least three years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.

We believe you bring experience, knowledge or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas:

Complex software-intensive systems and hardware solutions

Real-time, regulated or safety-critical systems

Cyber security and secure system design

Experience within Air Traffic Management is considered an advantage, but it is not a requirement.

To succeed in this role, you are structured and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a clear focus on quality and delivery. You are comfortable navigating change and enjoy finding practical, creative solutions to new challenges. Just as importantly, you are a collaborative team player who values different perspectives and contributes to a positive and inclusive working environment.

We also believe that you are curious by nature and motivated by continuous learning, whether that means deepening your technical expertise or broadening your understanding of customer needs and business objectives.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential. A valid driver's license is considered an advantage.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
