About the Role
We are looking for a Product Safety Specialist who will ensure safe and sustainable consumer products and will be a part of the Global General Product safety team that will perform product safety assessments, chemical and material assessments.
This position is based in Gothenburg and reports to the Global Product Safety Manager.

About the Role
We are looking for a Product Safety Specialist who will ensure safe and sustainable consumer products and will be a part of the Global General Product safety team that will perform product safety assessments, chemical and material assessments.
This position is based in Gothenburg and reports to the Global Product Safety Manager.
What You Will Do
- Perform product safety assessments on products and materials and communicate the results to internal and external stakeholders for the assigned product areas are e.g. baby diapers, feminine towels and liners, tampons, menstrual cups, incontinence products.
- Conduct toxicological evaluations and risk assessments of materials and finished products.
- Collect, review, and evaluate supplier documentation, certifications, test results, and analytical data.
- Collaborate with Suppliers, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement and Business teams
- Provide product safety expertise in strategic and operational development projects
- Ensure products comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
- Monitor developments in product safety, toxicology, and compliance, and share knowledge across the organization.
- Support continuous improvement of product safety processes and practices.
Who You Are

- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or another relevant scientific field.
- Experience working within product safety or material science or a related area.
- Knowledge of toxicology is an advantage
- Experience working in a complex matrix organization is an advantage as well as working with SAP EHS/PLM
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
